Outdoor Activities
There are many outdoor activities in Branson and are varied according to the visitors. Among the most popular is
golf.
With so many courses to choose from, the ease of getting a tee time. Many of the courses have a special value price if you chooose to play later in the day. For those who want a fun family activity there is miniture golf. This activity is fun for all ages.

The Track Family Fun Parks
which offer several go-kart tracks (a couple are 3-stories tall), bumper boats, putt-putt golf and laser tag.
Celebration City
is a full fledge amusement park with roller-coasters, farris-wheels and water rides.
White Water
is a water park with wave pools, lazy rivers, slides and beaches. A good place to cool off on a hot summer day.
Table Rock Lake has over 1000 miles of shoreline. It is big enough to satisfy all of your boating needs. From water skiing, houseboating, personal watercraft there is room for all. Perhaps with all of that shoreline you may want to find a nice quite cove and drop anchor and just relax.
The Showboat Branson Belle
is the largest land locked paddle-wheel boat in North America. They offer cruises on Table Rock Lake along with dinner and a show.
A family favorite is Ride the Ducks. These are world war two amphibious vehicles that can run on the road and in the water. They start with a tour of the Branson area and end with a spash down into Table Rock Lake. This is a good way to get orientated to the area.
The Landing Princess cruise is a beautiful yacht that takes you on a scenic journey up the Taneycomo through the historic Taneycomo bridge and beneath majestic Mt. Branson.
Be sure to bring your camera to capture the abundant wildlife, and all of the breathtaking shoreline scenery. Upon returning to the Branson Landing, the Landing Princess arrives in time to see the 7.5 million dollar water show. Water rhythmically dances to the music, while fireballs shoot into the sky. It truly is a treat to see this spectacle from the boat.
Throughout the cruise on the Landing Princess there will be a guide letting you know of all the attractions you pass, and they offer you a lot of interesting, historical information of the area.
The Lake Queen cruise is a paddle-wheel boat that is 100 feet in length. The lower deck is climate controlled, while the spectacular outdoor upper deck offers panoramic views of the beauty that is all around you.
The cruise guide leads you on a journey, offering interesting information about the history of Branson. Learn how Branson got its name, and why Lake Taneycomo stays 43-45 degrees year round in Branson. The outdoor temperature is easily 10-15 degrees cooler while on the boat, so even on the hottest days of the year, the temperature on the Lake Queen is quite tolerable.
The Branson Scenic Railway is a 45 mile train ride through the scenic Ozark Mountains. For the best view sit on the right side of the train.
If you enjoy being underground there are several
caves
in the area. These range from the ride through to guided tours. Several stables offer horseback riding tours. Many trails are found in the area for those who enjoy hiking.
With so much to do it is easy to see why visitors return again and again!!!
